Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Philadelphia


The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to locate and identify the subject responsible for the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 700 Adams Avenue earlier today.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., the subject entered the bank branch and presented a threatening demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area on foot through the parking lot.

The subject, described as an African-American male, 25-30 years old, 5’9”- 5’11” tall, with a medium build and dark complexion, was wearing dark clothing that covered most of his face.

The subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
