The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown man responsible for robbing the Citibank branch located at 10606 Camino Ruiz in San Diego, California on Monday, April 16, 2012.
On Monday, April 16, 2012, at approximately 4:21 p.m., the Citibank branch located at 10606 Camino Ruiz in San Diego, California was robbed by an armed, unknown man. The robber walked into the bank and began waving a semi-automatic pistol in the air. The robber shouted obscenities and ordered several employees to provide him money. After receiving a sum of money, he walked out of the bank. The robber was observed getting into an older Nissan sedan, green in color.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Approximately 50 years old
Height: Approximately 5’8” tall
Weight: Approximately 180 lbs.
Build: Medium
Eyes: Unknown
Hair/Coloring: Unknown
Clothing: Blue jeans, brown shoes, black baseball cap, a white bandana across his face with sunglasses covering his eyes, zipped up tan jacket
Vehicle: Older model Nissan sedan, green in color
Weapon: Black semi-automatic pistol
