Robbery of Bank of America Branch in Houston


The FBI needs your help in identifying the man who robbed the Bank of America located inside the Foodtown store at 9525 South Kirkwood in Houston, Texas earlier today, April 19, 2012. The robber wore a Texans football shirt during the robbery. The robber and his shirt are pictured in a bank security camera photograph at the end of this press release.

At approximately 11:20 a.m., the man walked into the bank and handed a teller a threatening note which demanded money. In the note, the robber threatened to have a gun. No weapon was observed by the teller. The teller gave the robber some cash. He turned and walked out of the bank and grocery store. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as a black male in his late-40s, approximately 6’0” tall, and weighing 180-190 pounds, with a medium build. He had a dark complexion and light facial hair. He wore a blue and red Texans football shirt and a dark colored baseball hat.
