The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the White Glove Bandit, wanted for his fourth armed bank robbery, the latest of which happened today, April 17, 2012. At approximately 9:00 a.m., the suspect walked into a HSBC Bank located at 769 Broadway in Manhattan, approached the teller, waived a black revolver, and demanded cash. The White Glove Bandit fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid- to late-30s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build. The right side of his nose is described as scarred or disfigured. During every robbery, he has been seen wearing black shoes, pants, jacket, sunglasses, and white latex gloves. The White Glove Bandit carries a black revolver and usually is seen with a backpack. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
