PNC Bank Branch in Philadelphia Robbed


FBI and Philadelphia Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Robber

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are asking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying the subject responsible for the April 19, 2012 robbery of the PNC Bank branch located at 1111 Market Street.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., the subject entered the branch and presented a threatening demand note and a suspicious package to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject left the area on foot and was last seen running toward The Gallery.

The subject is described as a white male; approximately 30-35 years old; 5’10” tall; 180 lbs.; light-colored, full goatee; and wearing a blue New York Yankees baseball cap, white T-shirt, and gray sweatpants.

The subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
