The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to locate and identify the subject responsible for the April 4, 2012 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 700 Adams Avenue.
At approximately 12:07 p.m., the subject entered the bank branch and presented a threatening demand note to the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area on foot through the parking lot.
The subject is described as an African-American male, 25-30 years old, 6’1” tall, with a lean build, dark complexion, and possible short hair or a shaved head. He was wearing black clothing that covered his face and carried a white bag with red lettering.
The subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department or the FBI at 215-418-4000. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
