Robbery of Chase Bank Branch in San Diego


The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male who robbed the Chase Bank branch located at 4078 Adams Avenue in San Diego, California on Friday, April 6, 2012.

On Friday, April 6, 2012, at approximately 12:54 p.m., the Chase Bank branch located at 4078 Adams Avenue in San Diego, California was robbed by an unknown male. At the time of the robbery, the robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for cash while simulating a hand gun. The robber was provided a sum of money at which time he walked out of the bank. No weapon was observed and no injuries reported.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

■Sex: Male
■Race: Black
■Age: Late 20s to mid-30s
■Height: Approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall
■Weight: Approximately 190 lbs.
■Build: Medium
■Eyes: Unknown
■Hair/Coloring: Bald/shaved head
■Clothing: Yellow baseball cap, dark blue jacket with San Diego Chargers football bolt, dark blue jeans, and tattoos on his fingers
