Investigators with the FBI and the Santa Maria Police Department are seeking information from the public leading to the identification or the whereabouts of a bank bandit responsible for robbing the Rabobank on North Broadway around noontime today in Santa Maria, California. During the robbery, the suspect passed a note written on the back of a deposit slip demanding cash and which further read, “I got a gun.” The suspect’s note also indicated that the victim teller had to comply with his demands so that nobody would be hurt.The suspect was described by witnesses in the bank as a white male, approximately 40 years in age, between 5’8”-5’9” tall, 140 lbs or more, with “pinkish” skin and a shaved head. The suspect was wearing a navy blue, long-sleeved sweatshirt.
