Incident Description: Firefighter Osenenko was engaged in operations at the scene of a residential structure fire, assisting in the firefight and rescue of the occupants, when he suffered a medical emergency. Osenenko was treated at the scene by fellow responders and transported to the Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge where he passed away from his injuries.

According to local authorities, none of the residents of the home suffered significant injuries. The fire is under investigation, with an electric space heater reported as a possible cause.

Funeral Arrangements: Visitation, Tuesday (12/06) 1700-1900hrs; Wednesday (12/07) 0800-1000hrs, with services beginning at 1000hrs conducted by Livingston Parish Fire Protection District #4 Chaplin Thomas Normand, at the Revival Temple Church, 28521 Walker South Road, Walker, LA.
