FBI Offers Reward of up to $2,500 in Attack on Wheelchair-Bound Man

FBI and Gresham Police Department Looking Suspects

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible for a reported attack on a 56-year-old disabled Gresham man. The victim is a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, he was driving his wheelchair in the bike lane westbound along E. Burnside near SE 1st Street in Gresham. He was approached by three or four men who, he says, punched him several times. He received medical treatment for minor injuries.

The attackers are described as white or Hispanic in their late teens or early 20s. No further description is available. The FBI and Gresham Police Department are jointly investigating this case.
