The facts showed that on March 27, 2009, defendant sexually abused a minor female. The sentence includes a term of supervised release for life after defendant serves his prison term. Also, defendant will be required to register as a sex offender pursuant to state and federal law.

Pascua Yaqui Tribal Member Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison for Abusive Sexual Contact
TUCSON, AZ—Joe C. Madrid, 49, of Tucson, Arizona, was sentenced to eight years in prison by U.S. District Judge Cindy K. Jorgenson on December 18, 2011. Madrid had pleaded guilty to Abusive Sexual Contact on October 3, 2011.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Pascua Yaqui Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution was handled by Raquel Arellano and Anca I. Pop, Assistant U.S. Attorneys, District of Arizona, Tucson.
