U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrest Home Invasion Suspect

Pensacola, FL – The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Pensacola man this afternoon who reportedly is the lone suspect in a home invasion robbery that took place in Escambia County last August. Jarvis Lamar Jesse, 25, is said to have broke into the front door of a house on the 8500 Block of San Juan Calzada in the southwest end of the county. He then allegedly threatened the victim with their life stating he would “…burn the house down with the victim in it” and attempted to rob them. U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, Special Agents with the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) along with Officers from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, FDLE, and Escambia County S.O. Gang Unit arrested Jesse around today at an apartment complex on the 2300 block of
S. Blue Angel Parkway
.

Jesse was arrested without incident but was also charged with Felony Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Jesse’s warrant charges him with Aggravated Assault with Intent to Commit a Felony, Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling and a misdemeanor charge of Property Damage. Jesse was booked into the Escambia County Jail where he is being held on a total bond of $25,500 on all three charges.
