Former Cisco Ford Equipment Employee Pleads Guilty to Using Company Credit Cards for Over $77,000 in Personal Expenditures

United States Attorney John E. Murphy announced that in Midland, 33-year-old Ginny Lynn Stuart of Gardendale, Texas, faces between two and 12 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to one count each of aggravated identity theft and access device fraud.

Appearing before United States Magistrate Judge David Counts yesterday, Stuart admitted that while working as an office assistant for Cisco Ford Equipment in Odessa from early 2008 to August 2010, she used company American Express credit cards to make over $77,000 worth of personal purchases. Stuart further admitted that she forged the names of two individuals in signing the credit card charges. Sentencing before United States District Judge Robert Junell is expected to occur within the next 90 days.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Brandi Young is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
