VALOR Program Spotlight

The Bureau of Justice Assistance VALOR Program's latest Spotlight on Safety focuses on casualty care. Casualty care training is essential for law enforcement officers. As officers, you have an ethical obligation to render medical assistance to all persons (including suspects) to the extent of your casualty care training, as soon as it is safe to do so. Being properly trained and equipped may save your life, the lives of fellow officers or members of your community involved in a critical incident.
