The FBI announces the arrest of David L. Brasher, 37, of
City of Weston, Florida, on federal bank robbery charges for his alleged
involvement in the robbery of a Bank of America branch at 6100 North Federal
Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 6, 2018.
Brasher was arrested in Fort Lauderdale by the Fort
Lauderdale Police Department after he allegedly attempted to carjack a vehicle.
Brasher is in federal custody. His initial appearance is
anticipated to be in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The complaint
detailing the charges can be found in PACER in due course.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department, City of Sunrise
Police Department, Broward Sheriff’s Office, the South Florida Violent Crime
Fugitive Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation.
