U.S. Marshals Task Force and Honolulu Police Department Arrest Nevada Child Sexual Assault Suspect

 Honolulu, HI – On Tuesday, April 21, 2015, members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force located and arrested 42 year-old Rodney Hosino of Honolulu at his place of employment located near Middle Street. Hosino was wanted out of Clack County Nevada on an arrest warrant for seven counts of sexual assault against a child and four counts of lewdness with a child.

On March 30, 2015, a criminal complaint and affidavit was filed accusing Hosino of multiple child sex crimes and an arrest warrant was issued by Clark County for Hosino. Las Vegas Metro Police Department sought the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force in Hawaii to track down Hosino and return him to Nevada. Task Force members identified possible locations for Hosino while conducting surveillance and following up on leads. On April 21, 2015 at approximately 11:30 am, U.S. Marshals and Honolulu Police Department (HPD) officers located Hosino at his place of employment where he was taken into custody.

Hosino was transported and booked into the HPD Central Receiving pending a court appearance and extradition hearing back to Nevada.
