Wanted for Weapons Violation and Narcotics Distribution
Atlantic City, NJ – Members of the U.S. Marshals New
York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force - Atlantic City Division -
arrested one of New Jersey’s Top 10 fugitives today.
Trevin Allen, a fugitive affiliated with the Dirty Blok
Gang, was wanted by the Atlantic City Police Department for a weapons violation
and distribution of narcotics. His charges and gang affiliation landed him on
the New Jersey State Police – Atlantic City Police Department’s Top 10 List.
The fugitive investigation for Allen gained momentum when
task force investigators developed leads regarding Allen’s possible
whereabouts. Those leads narrowed the search to Millville, New Jersey, and
Allen was soon arrested without incident during a traffic stop.
“The final chapter of justice denied has been written,” said
Juan Mattos, Jr., U.S. Marshal of New Jersey. “Allen will now be held
accountable for his crimes.”
U.S. Marshals Service task forces are interagency teams of
criminal investigators dedicated to the location and apprehension of local,
state, and federal fugitives. More than 104,800 fugitives were arrested by the
U.S. Marshals during FY 2014.
