New Mexico’s Most Wanted Adds a New Sex Offender to its List



Albuquerque, NM - In 2008, Anthony Romero Jr. was convicted in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico for Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Crime on Indian Country. Based on records from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department, Romero has failed to update his sex offender registration. Romero is now facing new charges for his failure to register as a sex offender. Romero (36) is currently attempting to avoid apprehension by Law Enforcement.

Deputies and Task Force Officers assigned to the United States Marshals Service South West Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force are actively trying to locate Romero and it is believed he is in the Albuquerque or Acoma Pueblo area. It is asked that anyone with information contact either the local Police Department or the United States Marshals Service.
