“Triple Threat Bandit” Hits Three Banks in Orange County

A bank robber suspected of robbing three banks this morning in Orange County is being sought by the FBI and law enforcement authorities in Orange County. The “Triple Threat” Bandit has been linked to the following three banks robbed throughout Friday morning:

■Orange County Credit Union 1469 South Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton (9:39 a.m.)
■Union Yes Federal Credit Union 1918 West Chapman Ave. in Orange (10:15 a.m.)
■U.S. Bank 5470 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park (approximately 11:00 a.m.)

The “Triple Threat Bandit” has been described by witnesses as a black male, 200+ lbs., in his 30s with a muscular build, bright white teeth, and freckles on his cheeks. During today’s robberies, the bandit wore a white polo shirt with blue jeans and may have been carrying a black backpack. In each robbery, the bandit approached a victim teller and passed a note demanding large bills, “100s & 50s.” No weapon was seen during the robberies
