CBP Officers at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge Take Custody of Fugitive Returned to the U.S. by Mexican Law Enforcement Authorities

Brownsville, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers working at the B & M Bridge took custody of a fugitive returned to the U.S. by Mexican law enforcement authorities.

On August 8, 2011, CBP officers at the B & M Bridge took custody of a U.S. citizen male returned to the U.S. by Mexican law enforcement authorities. The alleged fugitive was identified as Timothy Glen Caskey, age 39 from Bossier City, Louisiana. A check of a national crime database identified Caskey as a fugitive wanted by the state of Arkansas on a state charge of alleged parole violation and by the state of Minnesota on a state charge of alleged kidnapping.

After his arrest, Caskey was transferred to the custody of the U.S. Marshal’s Office and the local FBI office. He remains incarcerated pending extradition back to the state of Minnesota.
