Seymour Intermediate School Supports FBI-SOS
On 01/05/2011, faculty members at Seymour Intermediate School participated in a hands-on training to familiarize themselves with the FBI Safe Online Surfing (FBI-SOS) Program. Thanks to Seymour Principal Peggy Oakes, PAS Stacie Bohanan provided the training to all third, fourth, and fifth grade teachers during a regularly scheduled in-service training day. The goal of the training was to educate teachers about the FBI-SOS Program while encouraging the school to become the first national winner from the state of Tennessee. To date, numerous schools in Tennessee have participated in the program, but have yet to win the coveted national title. Pictured are faculty members from Seymour Intermediate School.
