February 1, 2010 - NEW ORLEANS, LA—LIONEL BREAUX, age 34, of New Orleans, Louisiana, pled guilty yesterday before the Honorable Mary Ann Vial Lemmon to a two-count superseding bill of information for bank robbery, announced U.S. Attorney Jim Letten.
According to factual basis, BREAUX admitted that he robbed the Fidelity Bank located at 1201 South Carrollton Avenue on September 25, 2009 and the Capital One Bank located at 7033 Canal Boulevard on October 19, 2009.
BREAUX faces a maximum term of imprisonment of twenty (20) years, a fine of $250,000.00, and three (3) years of supervised release following any term of imprisonment as to each count.
The case was investigated jointly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Elizabeth Privitera.
