Lisbon Woman Pleads Guilty to Theft of Bank Funds

February 19, 2010 - Portland, Maine: United States Attorney Paula D. Silsby announced today that Denise Krog, 39, of Lisbon, Maine, entered a guilty plea today in U.S. District Court to a one- count indictment charging her with bank theft. U.S. District Court Judge D. Brock Hornby accepted Krog’s guilty plea. Sentencing will be scheduled for a later date.

Court documents indicate that on October 13, 2009, Denise Krog’s husband, Randy Krog, robbed the Androscoggin Bank in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Denise Krog knew of his intent and received and disposed of some of the money from the bank robbery. Randy Krog pleaded guilty to the robbery on January 11, 2009, in U.S. District Court.

U.S. Attorney Silsby praised the investigative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Lisbon Police Department.
