$7,000 Reward Offered for Information on Serial Bank Robber


February 12, 2010 - Bank of the West is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for three Bank of the West robberies. The same person is also believed responsible for a robbery of a Bank of Oklahoma branch.

The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information regarding anyone who robs a member bank, of which Bank of Oklahoma is a member. Therefore, the total reward is up to $7,000.

The same individual is believed responsible for the following robberies:

• Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main Street, Norman - June 3, 2009
• Bank of Oklahoma, 6517 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City - July 3, 2009
• Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main Street, Norman - July 10, 2009
• Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main Street, Norman - July 13, 2009

The robber is described as a white male, 5'7" to 5'9", 160 to 180 lbs., and in his mid to late 20's. He carries a pistol, orders everyone on the ground, and makes threatening statements.
