ATF Offers a Reward for the Arson of The Dollar Tree in Hollister



HOLLISTER, Calif – Joseph M. Riehl, Special Agent in Charge, of the San Francisco Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced a reward up to the amount $3000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the arson of the Dollar Tree.

On Dec 8, 2013, an incendiary fire occurred at the Dollar Tree, located at 560 Tres Pinos Rd., Hollister, CA. ATF was contacted by Hollister Police Department after the fire scene was determined to be a crime scene. It was discovered the safe in the office had a significant amount of money missing.

The ATF San Jose Field Office is working aggressively in conjunction with the Hollister Police and Fire Department to bring those who committed this crime to justice. Any violation of state or federal law documented during the investigation will be referred to the United States Attorney’s Office or the San Benito District Attorney’s Office.

ATF is the federal agency with jurisdiction for investigating criminal activities involving arsons.
