FBI and El Cajon Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Man Who Robbed Wells Fargo Bank

The FBI and El Cajon Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1235 Avocado Avenue, El Cajon, California, on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

On Thursday, November 17, 2011, at approximately 2:10 p.m. the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1235 Avocado Avenue, El Cajon, California, was robbed by an unknown male.

At the time of the robbery, the robber walked up to an open teller station and made a verbal demand for money. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided him with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money, the robber walked out of the bank. The robber may have fled the area on a mountain bike. No injuries were reported and no weapon observed. The robber’s face was covered by a blue shirt with cut out eye holes.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
 Race: White
 Age: Late 20’s to early 30’s
 Height: Approximately 5’9” to 6’0” tall
 Build: Slim
 Hair/Coloring: Unknown
 Clothing: Gray hooded sweatshirt, dark green sweat suit pants, blue shirt with cut out eye holes covering face
