Seeking Information on Robbery of Bank of Albuquerque Branch

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are looking for a man who robbed the Bank of Albuquerque, 3301 Coors Blvd NW, on Thursday afternoon.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5’11” tall, with a small to medium build and a light complexion.

He was clean shaven with a moustache and short, dark hair. The suspect wore reading glasses, a black baseball-style cap, a white shirt, brown jacket and denim jeans.

Witnesses said the man walked into the bank at about 2:45 p.m. He handed the teller a note demanding money.

He put one of his hands in his jacket.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen walking southbound along Coors Boulevard.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and the penalty increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI may pay a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
