FBI Seeking Public’s Assistance in Locating Bank Robber

June 7, 2010 - The Omaha FBI and the Bellevue Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who wore a yellow hard hat during a bank robbery earlier today. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured photographs of the lone bank robber as he robbed the Bank of the West, located at 505 Galvin Road North, Bellevue, Nebraska.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. the man entered the bank, walked up to the teller counter, presented the teller with a demand note and displayed a weapon in his waistband. The teller complied with the bank robbery demand. No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The robber is described as a white male, 5’9”– 6’ tall with a thin build. In addition to the yellow hard hat, he is described as middle-age, wearing a long sleeve dark shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
