January 25, 2010 - Thomasina Precious Trent, 25, of Chester, PA, pleaded guilty today to robbing two banks in Delaware County, PA, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy. Trent was indicted in September, with co-defendant Deshawn Dominque Rogers, also of Chester, on two counts of bank robbery and aiding and abetting bank robbery. On July 6, 2009, Trent and Rogers robbed a TD Bank branch in Boothwyn and, on July 7, 2009, they robbed a Brookhaven branch of First Keystone Bank. Rogers pleaded guilty in October and is awaiting sentencing. Trent is scheduled to be sentenced on April 22, 2010 and faces a possible sentence of 46 to 57 months under federal sentencing guidelines.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Upper Chichester Township Police Department, and the Brookhaven Police Department. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mark B. Dubnoff.
