High Point, NC – On July 17, 2015, at around 2:00 PM, Bryce
Denzel Stanback, a 21 year old, male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint
Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and the High Point Police Department. On June 04,
2015, an arrest warrant was taken out by the High Point Police Department
charging Stanback with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. The warrant was issued
after Stanback allegedly pulled a gun and threatened the life of a victim
before stealing their vehicle.
The JFTF received credible information that led officers to
the Walmart parking lot located at 2710 North Main Street in High Point. After
conducting surveillance in the area, JFTF was able to positively identify
Stanback in a vehicle. The JFTF surrounded and converged on the vehicle taking
Stanback into custody. During the arrest Stanback was found to be in possession
of a firearm which resulted in another charge. JFTF transported Stanback to the
High Point Jail where he is currently being held on the alleged charges.
The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle
District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals
Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro
Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police
Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway
Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of
Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
