Topeka Man Wanted for Robbery Found in Wichita, Kansas



Topeka, KS – Dominique Coward, 22, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task force on May 14, 2015. Coward is a Topeka resident wanted by the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office for three counts of aggravated robbery. Topeka Police identified two suspects wanted for a robbery that occurred on April 24, 2015 where a large amount of cash was taken. Antwanisha Love and Dominique Coward both had warrants issued for their arrest on April 28, 2015, but Coward fled the area of Topeka once he became aware that he was wanted by authorities. Coward is also a suspect in another robbery and shooting that occurred in the 3000 block of SE Indiana on May 8th, 2015. Antwanisha Love was arrested in Topeka by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on May 6, 2015.

Information was developed that Coward was most likely hiding out in Wichita, KS. With the assistance of the Wichita U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Coward was located and taken into custody without incident. Coward was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail where he will be held there in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional fugitive task force comprised of the United States Marshals Service, Topeka Police Department, Kansas Department of Corrections, and the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office.
