San Antonio, TX – Larry Verdell Lynn, 49, was arrested this
evening by members of the United States Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive
Task Force (LSFTF) in San Antonio, TX. An arrest warrant was issued pursuant to
an investigation by the City of Troy Police Department (TPD), where it is

Yesterday, members of the LSFTF were contacted by members of
the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) to assist in searching for
Lynn here in San Antonio. Members of the LSFTF immediately initiated an
investigation in locating and apprehending Lynn. Through investigative efforts
and extensive surveillance, task force officers observed Lynn driving a vehicle
in the 400 block of Valley High Drive, on the south side of San Antonio. Task
force officers initiated a stop of the vehicle, approached the vehicle,
identified themselves, removed Lynn from the vehicle, and took him into custody
without incident.
On May 3, 2015, Lynn was allegedly involved in stabbing a
woman in Troy, AL. Reports stated that TPD officers responded to an alarm call
from business in the 200 block of U.S. 231 North in Troy where they found the
victim suffering from severe stab wounds. The victim was transported to the
hospital and reported in critical condition. After an investigation by TPD
detectives, a warrant was issued for Lynn’s arrest in connection with the
