Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested in Greensboro by U.S. Marshals



Greensboro, NC – This afternoon at 12:30 PM, Mitchell Jerome Mack, a 37 year old, Black Male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF). Mack was wanted by the Greensboro Police Department for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by Felon. These charges stemmed from an armed robbery on November 29, 2013 at the Pop Shoppe gas station located at 1710 Stanley Road.

Mack was arrested without incident at 5521 Hornaday Road. JFTF booked Mack into the Guilford County Detention Center pending resolution of his case.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
