Band-Aid Bandit Robs Bank in Houston

Surveillance Photos Released from Weekend Bank Robbery

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “Band-Aid Bandit,” who robbed the Chase Bank located at 11560 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas, earlier today. During the robbery, the man wore a band aid on his left cheek. He was not seen after leaving the bank. Photographs from the robbery are below.

At approximately 10:50 a.m., the man entered the bank and waited in line with the rest of the customers. When it was his turn, he handed the teller a note threatening to have a gun and demanding money. The teller gave the robber some cash. He left the area quickly and was not seen. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber was described a black male, early 20s, 5’6” tall, with a slender build and a band-aid on his left cheek. He wore a baseball cap, a blue/gray long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black and yellow tennis shoes.
