$5,000 Reward Available
May 13, 2010 - The Oregon Financial Institutions Security Task Force (FIST) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Tammy Lynn Hall. Hall, age 42, is believed to be from California. A federal grand jury has charged Hall with the April 30, 2010, robbery of the Bank of America branch located at 8315 SE Sunnyside Road in Clackamas. There have been three other robberies committed in recent weeks by a woman matching Hall's description. They are:
May 3, 2010 - First Independent Bank, 1408 SE 164th Ave., Vancouver
May 7, 2010 - US Bank, 6407 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver
May 10, 2010 - Bank of the West, 11050 SE McLoughlin Blvd., Milwaukie
The FBI, in conjunction with the other investigating agencies to include the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Milwaukie Police Department, Vancouver Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff's Office, are looking at the possibility that the same person is responsible for all four bank robberies. However, at this time, Hall is charged with only one bank robbery (April 30th, Bank of America).
In each instance, a female robber entered the bank, demanded cash and left. No weapon was seen in any of the robberies. Investigators believe Hall may be using a four-door 2005 white Nissan Altima.
Hall's description is:
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 130
Hair: Long curly hair, brown but with blonde highlights
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Often wears a dark zip up jacket, blue jeans and carries a dark-colored back-pack
Scars/Marks: Large tattoo on the right side of her neck, possibly a butterfly
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI in Portland at (503) 224-4181 twenty-four hours a day; Detective Scott Smith with the Vancouver Police Department at (360) 487-7416; or Det. Thomas Yoder with the Clark County Sheriff's Office at (360) 397-2211 ext 5305.
An indictment is only an accusation of a crime, and every defendant should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Assistant United States Attorney Ryan Bounds is prosecuting this case.
FIST is a cooperative effort made up of representatives from banks, savings and loans, and credit unions, as well as representatives from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. The purpose of FIST is to help reduce crimes.
