JACKSON, MS—Gregory Hammack, 43, of Clinton, was sentenced in federal court on Thursday to 25 months in prison followed by 5 years of supervised release for possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Donald R. Burkhalter announced today. Hammack was indicted in July, 2009 after an examination of his computer identified numerous images of child pornography. He pled guilty to the charge in December, 2009.
U.S. Attorney Burkhalter praised the work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Assistant U.S. Attorney Glenda Haynes, who prosecuted the case.
