CBP Officers at Laredo Port of Entry Arrest Detroit Man Wanted on Murder Warrant

Laredo, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Laredo port of entry this weekend apprehended a Detroit, Michigan man wanted on an outstanding warrant for first-degree murder.

The apprehension occurred on May 14 at Lincoln-Juarez Bridge. A CBP officer referred a commercial bus passenger, Christopher Allen Dean, a 29-year-old male U.S. citizen from Detroit for a secondary examination after a query at primary inspection revealed he was a possible match to an outstanding warrant. In secondary, CBP officers verified Dean’s identity and confirmed he had an outstanding warrant from Detroit Police Department for first-degree murder. Dean also was discovered to be a member of the Cash Flow Posse 4400 gang. After confirming the warrant was active, CBP officers turned Dean over to the custody of Webb County sheriff’s deputies for adjudication of the warrant.
