Possible Hazardous Material Threat Response

March 3, 2010 - The FBI Salt Lake City Division, in collaboration with Weber County Fire and Weber County Sheriff’s Office, responded this morning to a possible hazardous material threat at the IRS building in Farr West, Utah. The FBI continues to investigate the incident along with its federal and local partners. The area where the threat was received was isolated by removing employees from that area. Some individuals did suffer medical emergencies which, at this time, do not appear to be related to this incident. The investigation continues and no further details can be released.
