U.S. Marshals Arrest Brother of "Angelo Milliones"

March 19, 2010 - San Juan, Puerto Rico – Eric Timberman, the United States Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico, would like to announce that Luis Xadiel Cruz-Vasquez, aka “el mono”, the brother of alleged drug kingpin Angel Ayala-Vasquez, aka “Angelo Milliones”, was arrested by the United States Marshals led Puerto Rico Fugitive Task Force.

Cruz-Vasquez, was charged September 28, 2009, in the District of Puerto Rico for conspiracy to import and distribute narcotics, and trafficking narcotics within 1,000 ft. of a school in the same multi-defendant indictment as his more infamous half-brother “Angelo Milliones”. The warrant was then turned over to the United States Marshals Service which conducted the fugitive investigation.

The U.S. Marshals led PRFTF was able to develop information that Cruz-Vasquez was staying at a residence in Barrio Pina, Sector La Pra in Toa Alta and arrested Cruz-Vasquez there late last night without incident. Cruz-Vasquez is scheduled for his initial appearance and arraignment on his federal charges today.

Additionally, the United States Marshals Service announces the arrest of Angel Luis Villodas-Rosario. Villodas-Rosario was a member of the Puerto Rico Fugitive Task Force “Top Ten Most Wanted” fugitives list and was wanted by the Puerto Rico Police Department for a homicide in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

It combines the world renowned expertise of the U.S. Marshals in hunting fugitives with the resources of our local partners to ensure these dangerous fugitives are brought to justice”, stated Eric Timberman, United States Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico.

The US Marshals led Puerto Rico Fugitive Task Force is the fugitive arm of the US Marshals in Puerto Rico. In the last calendar year alone, the PRFTF arrested more than 1,250 violent fugitives.
