National Center for Campus Public Safety Announces Virtual Professional Development Initiative

The NCCPS VPD announces its first self-paced, online training program, a five-module, beginner-level Physical Security Education Program for campus law enforcement, emergency managers, facilities and building services personnel, and others responsible for managing the physical security of a campus.
The five modules include:

1. Course Introduction
2. Reviewing Best Practices in Physical Security
3. Defining Physical Security Goals
4. Conducting a Survey and Developing a Strategy
5. Implementing Your Physical Security Plan

Each module includes learning objectives, and participants will receive a certificate of completion following a successful post-test at the end of the course. Participants have 30 days to complete a course once they have registered.
