DETROIT — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives (ATF), in conjunction with the Roseville Fire Department have
announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading the arrest and
conviction for those responsible for a fire at a Michigan Department of
Corrections office in Macomb County.
On May 3, 2017, the Roseville Fire Department responded to a
fire at 15950 12 Mile Road at 12:41 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered smoke and flames on the southeast
side of the commercial building. An
investigation has determined the fire was intentionally set in the clerical
area of the Michigan Department of Corrections office, causing an estimated
$1.3 million in damages.
