ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information
leading to arrest
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives (ATF) Nashville Field Division announced today a reward up to
$2,500 for information leading to the arrest of Tavares Clayborn.
Clayborn is charged
federally in the Western Judicial District of Tennessee with the following
counts; the use a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, conspiracy
to commit a Hobbs Act robbery, felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a
firearm in furtherance of a federal crime of violence. .
ATF and the Memphis
Police Department have been investigating a robbery crew of five individuals
since 2016 who allegedly are responsible for approximately 30 robberies and
thefts of various distributors. Four of the individuals are in federal custody,
and ATF is seeking the where abouts of
Clayborn, the remaining member of this robbery crew.
