WASHINGTON – The Office of Justice Programs’ National
Institute of Justice (NIJ)
yesterday published an article online that discusses the
outcome of a study examining the progression and consequences of teen dating
violence on potential intimate partner violence in adulthood. The research
looks at the patterns and elements of the studied relationships such as the
frequency of relationship violence, the characteristics and quality of
relationships, and the negative physical and mental health outcomes resulting
from relationship abuse.
More information about today’s publication and other NIJ
programs is available here: www.nij.gov.
