National Institute Of Justice Examines Consequences And Impact Of Teen Dating Violence



WASHINGTON – The Office of Justice Programs’ National Institute of Justice (NIJ)
yesterday published an article online that discusses the outcome of a study examining the progression and consequences of teen dating violence on potential intimate partner violence in adulthood. The research looks at the patterns and elements of the studied relationships such as the frequency of relationship violence, the characteristics and quality of relationships, and the negative physical and mental health outcomes resulting from relationship abuse.
