October Is National Cyber Security Awareness Month

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security designates October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month. NCSAM is a collaborative effort between DHS and its public and private partners, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation's National Cyber Security Alliance, to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and individual cyber hygiene. Each week in October has a designated theme that offers the opportunity for government and industry to get involved in cybersecurity activities relevant to them.
