This Week’s 'Fugitive Of The Week' Arrested by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force



Concord, NH - The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force closed in on this week’s “Fugitive of the Week.” Tonykus Hebert, 30, and arrested him in Nashua, NH. Hebert was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on a warrant issued for federal supervised release violations, with original convictions of possession with intent to distribute cocaine with a firearm.

As part of the U.S. Marshals fugitive investigation, Hebert was featured as this week’s “Fugitive of the Week”. The “Fugitive of the Week” was aired this Wednesday on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Foster’s Daily Democrat, Manchester Information, The Manchester Ink Link and prominently featured on the internet. The “Fugitive of the Week” has been a very successful tool that has resulted in the location and arrest of numerous fugitives since its implementation in 2007. This case was no different. An anonymous tip came in through the TIP411 system, which led the Marshals Task Force to Hebert’s front door.

Early this morning, members of the Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Nashua went to the residence that the tipster indicated Hebert was residing in, located in the 80 block of Newton Dr, Nashua. Mr. Hebert was located inside the residence hiding in a bedroom closet and arrested without incident. Hebert was transported to the U.S. District Court, Concord, for arraignment.

This arrest was made through a cooperative effort by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Belknap, Hillsborough, Strafford & Rockingham County Sheriff’s Offices, Greenfield & Nashua Police Departments, along with deputy U.S. Marshals.

Since the inception of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 6,340 arrests (Updated as of 05/03/2016).These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 7 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
