Albuquerque, NM - The United States Marshal Service,
District of New Mexico, arrested wanted fugitive Daniel Duran, who was wanted
by the Albuquerque Police Department in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, for
Failing to Appear on 8 counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Minor, 1
count of Kidnapping with Intent to Commit a Sex Crime, and 1 count of
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Investigators with the United States Marshals Service began
searching for Daniel Duran on Tuesday August 09, 2016. The Marshals Service
Fugitive Task Force, along with Albuquerque Police Department and the
Bernalillo County Sheriff Department, used undercover surveillance techniques
and tips provided by the public to assist in the arrest on August 10, 2016.
Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the District of New Mexico
exclaims “When a crime is committed against a child, we are even more committed
to tracking the suspects down and arresting them.”
