Deputy U.S. Marshals Locate and Arrest Sandoval County Fugitive Charged With Sexual Penetration of a Minor

Albuquerque, NM - On July 25, 2016, Deputy U.S. Marshals in Albuquerque, NM along with the Rio Rancho Police Department developed information that fugitive, Joseph Vallejos, who was wanted for Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Minor, had fled New Mexico and was evading capture in Pueblo Colorado. Albuquerque U.S. Marshals coordinated with the District of Colorado Violent Offender Task Force in Pueblo Colorado who were able to confirm the location of Vallejos and arrest him. Vallejos had been a fugitive from the Sandoval County charges since January of 2016.

Vallejos is being held in Pueblo Colorado pending extradition to Sandoval County, NM.
