U.S. Attorney Christopher A. Crofts
announced that on May 25, 2012, Jerel Tillman, an 18-year-old Eastern Shoshone
Tribal member was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl to
37 months’ imprisonment, three years of supervised release, and a $500 fine for
an aggravated assault committed in December 2011 on the Wind River Indian
Reservation.
This case was investigated by the
Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
