FBI and San Diego Police Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Wells Fargo Bank, 1350 Fashion Valley Road, San Diego, California, on Friday, June 10, 2011.

On Friday, June 10, 2011, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Wells Fargo Bank, 1350 Fashion Valley Road, San Diego, California, was robbed by an unknown male. At the time of the robbery, the robber walked into the bank and approached the victim teller. The robber presented a demand note for cash. The note stated this was a robbery and had specific instructions for the teller. The victim teller provided the robber a sum of money at which time the robber walked out of the bank. The robber fled the bank on foot and was seen walking west through an apartment complex next to the bank on Friars Road.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Mid 40's
Height: Approximately 5'9" – 6'0" tall
Weight: Approximately 180 - 200 lbs.
Build: Medium to heavy
Hair/Coloring: Balding
Clothing: Dark colored windbreaker jacket; black or navy blue polo shirt, blue jean pants, and white tennis shoes
