FORT WAYNE, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office announced the following activity in federal court:
Talitha Hutchins, 33, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was sentenced by Judge Theresa Springmann to two years of probation and eight months of home detention after pleading guilty to count six of an indictment charging her with maintaining a drug involved premises in the case US v Andre Hutchins et al. This case was the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Police Department, the Indiana State Police, and the Internal Revenue Service. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Anthony Geller and Tina Nommay.
Jamie Lynn Chapman, 37, of New Haven, Indiana, was sentenced by Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to 1 year of probation and 50 hours of community service after pleading guilty to an Information charging him with misuse of a government insignia. This case was the result of an investigation by the Office of the United States Trustee. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Deborah Leonard.
Jorge Rosas, 37, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to count one of a superseding indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, namely 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Indiana State Police, the Allen County Police Department, and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Anthony Geller and Tina Nommay.
